Oh, I'm so excited that you put this book up! I'm a big fan of J.P. Miller and I've always wanted to read this book. How in the world do you find all these gorgeous old Little Goldens? I'm pretty hardcore about searching in thrifts, secondhand bookstores, and antique shops for these, but I rarely find Goldens like this. And some of them are getting prohibitively expensive on Ebay! What's your secret?! Whatever it is, keep it up!
beanylandamy - I glad its one of your fav's its one of mine too! I have about 7-8 other rare JP Miller books I plan to post in the next couple months so keep on the lookout. The secret is I'm obsessed!!haha collecting vintage books by illustrators I love is my one serious weakness and my apt is bulging with books because of it!
Steve - I love that page too! My favorite it the donkey coming through the window and the guy with a cutlass in his teeth sneaking in the moonlight. Keep up YOUR illustrations they rock!!
Barbie, do you have every golden book? It sure seems like it. Not only that, they seem to be in decent shape... unless you're cleaning up the pages digitally.
Once again, I really appreciate your efforts of scanning, posting, sharing. I know how much work goes into this stuff. This blog is always inspires and brightens my day.
Pumml - I don't have EVERY golden book but I try to have all from my favorite illustrators! Some of the books I'm lucky enough to get are in great condition but most require a lot of digital restoring/clean up work. Almost every book I do a little clean up - taking out random age spots or marks. It takes a while which is why I only update on Wednesdays now. Thanks for looking!

Knockouts....all of em. The attacking cat page especially cracks me up.
Thanks, Barbie!
